ASTEC Safety Inc. Instructor Requirements
The following bullets outline the key prequisites for becoming an instructor with ASTEC Safety.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in some aspect of the oil and gas industry. Field experience in operations would be considered an asset.
- Some level of post secondary education.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Person is organized and personable.
- Demonstrated ability to use a computer. Must be able to work with MS Outlook, Word and Power Point.
- Sincere interest in safety training as a career.
- Supervisory experience would be an asset.
- Training or experience in adult education would be considered a strong asset.
- Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their instructional ability or potential at some point in the interview process.
